TalkEdUVT 2025 Webinars

"Ideas change the world. But what's the point if they're not discussed together?"

The Academic Development Center (CAD) of the West University of Timisoara (WUT) is pleased to invite you to the first series of TalkEdUVT Voices shaping learning webinars. This initiative aims to bring together the academic community of WUT and the universities in the UNITA consortium in an international dialogue on evidence-based education, the identity of university teachers, the skills of the future, teaching and emotion management in the context of genAI, and many other topics of interest. Internationally renowned guests will bring to your attention case studies, concrete tools, and ideas that are “ready to be put into practice” in your classroom/seminar room.

Purpose: supporting a culture of informed conversation by creating an open, intercultural space, in which the teaching community from WUT and UNITA discusses evidence-based ideas, puts them in dialogue with practice and, why not, transforms them into applicable solutions in the teaching-learning-evaluation process, as well as in research and innovation.

Teaching staff from WUT and UNITA, doctoral students, debutant/novice and experienced teachers, administrative and support staff from WUT (e.g. the Academic Development Center, the Department for Distance and Part-Time Learning, the Student Counseling and Support Service, etc.), students interested in teaching innovation and other aspects of university teaching, other university teaching staff.
